How do I schedule an appointment with Damien?
Please fill out the Tattoo Booking Request Form on the Homepage. Once accepted, a Non-Refundable Deposit will be required to book an appointment. After your date is verified, your deposit can be submitted in person by cash or paid through the website via Zelle, PayPal or Cash App only.
Please allow 3 - 7 days for a response. If it takes longer than the expected time, I am prioritizing my current bookings. Thank you for your interest in booking with me and being patient. I always appreciate and love your support.

When do you open your books?
Damien opens his books the 15th of every month to schedule for the following month. Example: July 15th books are open to schedule a date in August. So once the month fills up the books are closed until the 15th of the following month.
Are deposits refundable?
No. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit amount does go toward the final cost of the tattoo. If an event or emergency comes up before your scheduled date, and you notify Damien at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, then it can be transferred to a different day. If you miss or cancel the appointment date, you will forfeit the full deposit. No exceptions! You will be then be required to pay another deposit to reschedule.
How much is the deposit?
Damien requires a $100 deposit for small to medium sized tattoos. For larger tattoos that require more than one session, a larger deposit is required. All deposits can be made on our Booking and Store pages.
How much do you charge?
Damien has a $125 minimum (any appointment that is less than one hour) and fixed rate of $150 an hour fee. Half day session is 3 - 4 hours at $500. Full day session is 6 - 7 hours at $900.
How much is a Portrait Tattoo?
Portraits can take anywhere from 4 to 8 hours depending on detail and size. Based on the hourly rate, it would start at $600. A proper reference photo will be required and approved before booking.
How much for a Sleeve Tattoo?
Sleeves can take many hours and several sessions to complete. It can usually take 20 - 40 hours depending on the design layout and detail. Size of the arm is definitely a major factor. Based on the hourly rate, well, you can do the math! A larger deposit is required on sleeve tattoos starting at $200 or more.
How much for a Back Piece Tattoo?
The back is the biggest part of the body so you are looking at least 30 hours and can take up to 50 hours or more. Back Piece Tattoos require a 5 hour minimum session and at least a recurring session every 3 to 4 weeks apart until the back is completed. Deposits for back pieces start at $300.
What parts of the body do you not tattoo?
Damien does not tattoo fingers, palms, bottom of the feet, large face tattoos, male genital or male buttocks.
How long are you booked out to?
Damien is currently booked out anywhere from 1 - 2 months at the moment.
Will you do any tattoo style?
Damien will do any style he is comfortable doing. If he is not comfortable with that style, he will not attempt to do it.
What is your Specialty Style of Tattooing?
Damien specializes in Black and Grey, Blackwork, Fineline Tattooing, Floral and Realism. What tattoos would you like to work on? Currently Damien would like to work on subjects pertaining to movie themes, animal skulls, floral sleeves, horror, abstract, pinup girl, mastectomy cover ups and famous faces.
Are there any subjects that you will not tattoo?
Yes, Damien does not tattoo any offensive art or ideas such as gang related, satanic, racist or prejudice ideas. Please do not ask! Damien reserves the right to refuse certain subject matter or placement.
How long will it take to draw out my design?
Damien typically does not have the drawing done until a day or two before the appointment date. So please do not call or message everyday to see your design. The amount of work that Damien takes on can keep him busy most days and late nights. Please be patient so that the creative process takes full effect.
Do I need a consultation for my tattoo?
Some tattoos require a consultation to discuss the concept of the design or to measure out the space being tattooed. He will notify you if a consultation is necessary after reviewing your request form.
Can I bring a family member or friend to my appointment?
Damien only allows his clients to bring one person max to the appointment.
Where are you located?
Damien is located at a Private Studio named The Valparaiso Tattoo Collective at 755 W Lincolnway Valparaiso, Indiana.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Damien strongly advises you to not get tattooed on an empty stomach. Please eat before your tattoo appointment. He will offer complimentary refreshments and snacks during your tattoo session. You are welcome to bring your own as well. Wear something comfortable that gives easy access to the area being tattooed. Please moisturize your skin in the area being tattooed days prior to the session. Use a body or hand lotion daily to soften the skin. Drink lots of water days prior to the appointment. Avoid drinking alcohol within three days of the appointment.
Covid-19 Protocols
Masks are optional. If you have any symptoms such as cough, fever, chills, shortness of breath, congestion or sore throat please reschedule your appointment. If you have been in contact with someone that tested positive for COVID-19, please let us know. We reserve the right to refuse to take you in if we feel you have these symptoms.
